Vaccine rollout details

Ontario will move to Step One of the Roadmap to Reopen at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, June 11, 2021.  The province-wide Emergency Brake and enhanced public health shutdown measures remain in effect until Ontario enters Step 1. Workplace shutdown details.

Public Health is the lead in all outbreaks and case management. Public Health will contact you if you have had close contact with someone who has COVID-19, based on a thorough risk assessment completed only by Public Health.

  • Travel vaccines not available.  Travel vaccine may be accessed through a health care provider or visit www.publichealth.gc.ca for local travel clinics

 

School Immunization Clinics

Students at School

Elementary School Immunization Clinics occur in the fall, and spring for students in grade 7. Tetanus-Diphtheria-Pertussis boosters, and catch up of other publicly funded immunizations, are offered in secondary schools around the end of November each year. Publicly Funded Immunization Schedules for Ontario

 

Routine immunizations are made available through local medical offices. If you require immunizations, contact your Family Doctor or Nurse Practitioner’s office to book an appointment.

Keeping our rates of immunization high helps to support community immunity. This ensures everyone is protected against vaccine preventable diseases.
